After spending a successful decade launching brands and campaigns for FT 100, Ruchira transitioned to consultancy CMO roles whilst educating herself on the various facets of the drinks industry and is now an entrepreneur in the Wine & Spirits industry and judge for Global Spirits Masters awards & an associate judge with the IWC.

Ruchira holds multiple Industry qualifications including a WSET Diploma in Wine and the highest WSET qualifications for Saké & Spirits. She is a proud Liveryman with the Worshipful Company of Marketors (& soon - The Distillers) and a keen traveller who cites an Antarctic seadive as a life highlight.
Created an end to end drinks experience (Cocktails - Champagnes -Wines - Spirits) all of which can seamlessly pair with the flavourful dishes. The result was a 3X growth in beverage sales achieved organically. Also managed the supplier selection and contract negotiation.

Developing a personality-imbued drinks selection to fulfil AYo Founder Henny Zinzuwadia's wish to juxtapose the traditional and the unconvential through wines that take the diners on a journey and elevate the dishes to a whole new level.
Created a introduction roadshow to the 'who's who' of UK on-trade for Il Palagio wines by STING & Trudie Styler and helped their Global Brand rep Tony Sasa secure a UK importer within 4 weeks of the roadshow.
